Mini Vehicle Mat (part 3)

I finished the whole city now. This will tell you how to make the little people and two more vehicles. I also made more buildings and cars to fill up the empty space. I love the way this turned out and it is a pretty good toy to play with to. I used polymer clay for all the vehicles.

Helicopter:

I made a helicopter, and there is a helopad on one of the buildings, the hospital. I like to have the variety in the vehicles.

1. Make a shape like this with your clay. You can start with a circle and then pull one side out more.

2. Make three shapes like this. They will become the propeller.
3. Attatch them to the top of the helocopter.
4. Make a tiny proppellor for the back.
Your tiny helocopter is done!

Construction Digger:
I don't know what this is called. If you made the construction site in my last post, you probably want a vehicle to go inside. It will make it look a lot more like a construction site. Use polymer clay in orange or yellow.
1. Make a shape like this. It is kind of like a triangle or the front of a car.
2. Make a long stick and then stick it on the front. Shape it into a hook.
3. Make a little oval out of black clay.
4. Stick the black peice on the truck. Repeat on the other side with another peice.
Now the digger is finished!

People:
A city really needs some people. These really simple people are nice because they are easy to make and stand up. I like that they do not have a lot of details because they could be anyone you want.

1. Use one bead for the body and a different one for the head.
2. Put glue on the top of the body. I used hot glue, you can use a whatever kind you prefer.
3. Place the head bead on top where the glue is.
See how easy these are? You can make a bunch to put all throughout the city. They stand up good to, make sure you choose a flat bead for the bottom.
Thanks for reading this post. Check out part 1 and 2 if you havent already. I put all the stuff in a big ziploc for storage, but a box might be even better because the buildings would be protected.
