DIY Miniature Phone/Tablet

These phones are soo tiny! They are really easy to make with common supplies, and they are very customizable. You can use all the same methods to make a tablet or a phone. Once you make one, you will want to make a whole colection!

Supplies:

  • computer paper
  • glue stick
  • thin cardboard (you could also layer cardstock)
  • markers
  • scissors
  • pencil (optional to mark where to cut)
Start by cutting a piece of your cardboard to the size you want the phone to be.
Also cut from paper a rectangle that is large enough to cover the whole cardboard piece. Then glue the cardboard to one side, like this.
Make cuts around the corners to create tabs.
Fold over the tabs and glue down. This picture is pretty blurry but you get the idea.
Then fold the larger tab over. Trim so that it lines up with the back. Then glue down.
Take a marker the color you want the case to be. Color the back that color.
Color the sides to, and color a rim around the screen on front. You can also choose a different color for the screen, or draw something happening on it.
Thanks and enjoy making this craft. If you want more electronics for your dolls, check out how I made these miniature laptops.
