5 DIY Mini Dog Accessories
Here is how to make 5 different miniature dog things. A bed, bone, food dishes, pee pad, and toy. You could also use some of them for cats. If you want to make a dog to go with these, here is a tutorial from My Froggy Stuff that shows you how to make one using pipe cleaners.
Dog Bed
This dog bed it cute and I like that it is soft. The materials you will need are fleece, cardboard, and stuffed animal filling.
Cut out an oval from cardboard the size of how big you want the bed to be. Cut a long strip from the cardboard to.
Run your fingers along the strip to bend it a little and make it curve nicely without folding. Cut the strip so that it goes around the oval exept for the opening you want.
Cover the strip with fleece.
Cover the oval with fleece. Cut out triangles so it fits around the cardboard, and glue them down on the back. Before you glue all of them down, put a little bit of stuffing in. I'm using hot glue for this whole project.
Glue the strip around the base.
Rope Toy
I happened to have this string that looks like rope. If you don't have that, you could use thin yarn, or use multiple strands of embroidery thread for each peice. I think it would be cool if I added a strand of colorful thread in with the string. Mine came out a little messed up, but maybe its more realistic because dogs mess up there toys.
Cut three peices of string that are equal lengths. they should be longer than you want the toy to end up. If they are longer the whole project will be a lot easier. Tie the strands together at the top.
Braid them to the length you want the toy to be. Using a peice of tape to hold it down helps. Sorry the photos upside down.

That little dog looks so happy. This is really adorable! I think the rope toy is my favorite.
