Paper Dolls
I designed a paper doll and I think she turned out super cute! In this post I am going to talk about how I made her and how you can make your own paper doll. I also have a printable version of my doll and clothes available here. I had a really fun time making this, so I hope you enjoy it to.
Here is the downloadable version of my paper doll. You can print it out and color it yourself. Sorry she doesn't have a lot of clothes, but I am planning to put more up soon. You can also make your own clothes for her! For the dress, I forgot to draw on the folds in the dress. You can copy them on with a pen from the photo above.
Now I will tell you about how I made the doll. You can use these instructions to make your own paper doll, or more clothes for mine!
I started by drawing the person. Don't draw any clothes on them or details you want to change, for example the hair.
Next, I traced the body onto another sheet of paper and drew the clothes over that to get the right size. Make sure you are tracing the body in pencil so you can erase it and it won't show through the clothes.
After that, I traced all my pieces onto nice paper. It is good to use thick paper like cardstock so the pieces last longer and look nicer.
Next, you can color the clothes and person. I used markers.
Carefully cut out the pieces. You can add tabs to the clothes so they stay on the person. Another option is to glue the clothes on permenently with a regular glue stick.
I hope you enjoyed this and try coloring your own version of my doll! I will be putting up a post with more clothes soon, so stay tuned! Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Love it. Could make and glue a picture of each grandchildren face on it!
