Unicorn Art

This unicorn art is good for lots of skill levels and you can change it really easily. It is just a unicorn drawing, but I used splatter paint around the horn to look like magic. It turned out really pretty. The colors in my pictures don't show very well, but I used colorful green paint that contrasts with the white backround. You could try using a different backround color than white. You could also try coloring your unicorn in, but I like how the paint stands out if it is white. Read through all the directions before you do it, it will be easier.

Step 1.
Draw your unicorn. You can draw it yourself, or you can feel free to trace someone elses. I traced my unicorn but then modified it. I started with pencil but went over it in sharpie. You could do just the head like I did, or you could do a different design like a full body, or a silhouette. Just make sure the horn is noticable. You can also draw in more details around your unicorn.

Step 2.
You can cut your paper down if you have lots of extra white space. Keep lots of space around the horn though.

Step 3.
Time for the paint! I used watercolor. I would suggest testing on a different peice of paper. You don't want to try it on your drawing and then have the splatters way bigger than you expected. Choose your color and splatter it on your paper. Do the most splatters right at the top of the horn. Then have smaller drops the farther out from the horn you go.

Step 4.
You can put more colors of magic around your unicorn. I used two colors. You can use as many as you want. You could even have a whole rainbow! Do the same thing as in step three with your other colors. If you are only doing one color, you might want to add more.

Step 5.
Now wait for it to dry. Mine dryed VERY fast. You can do whatever you want with your unicorn art now.

Thanks for reading, have fun!
