DIY Braided Elastic Bracelet

This bracelet is really nice because you can put it on without an anoying clasp, and I like how simple it is. The supplies you need are elastic (the cord kind, like for beading), scissors, and tape. You can change the design pretty easily to create something more your style. Try using a different kind of elastic, or adding beads, or doing a different kind of braid. I messed up on the size of the green bracelet, but the techniqes are still the same.

Step 1:

Cut three lengths of elastic that are equal lengths. They should be a lot longer than your wrist, trust me you need more than you think. Tie them together at the top.

Tape it down at the top to keep it from sliding around.
Braid it all the way down. Here is a braiding tutorial from Luxy Hair. I tied a knot at the end, but it made the next steps harder. Also, I had to tie it so I could take the picture. If you want beads on your bracelet, slide them on now.

Tie your braid in a loop that is comfortable around your wrist. Remember, the elastic stretches so you don't need to worry about it not fitting over your hand. Trim the extra elastic from the knot.
