Doll Backpack (w/ Pattern!)

Its September, so I decided it is time for a back to school themed project! This mini backpack is really cute and perfect for the new school year. It actually opens so you can put stuff inside! It is made from felt, so it is pretty easy to make. You can add your own fun details and change the color to match your style. The backpack fits Barbie dolls and similar sized dolls. I recomend hand sewing for most/all of the backpack. Read the directions before you make one. Start by printing this pattern . Then you can cut the pieces from felt. I used brown because I like how it looks like leather on a small scale. Fold your backpack piece so the two sides by the corner line up with each other. Then sew. I used green embroidery thread because I want the stitches to show. Fold the felt up and continue sewing around the corner and up the curve. Repeat on the other side to close both sides.
